EX-PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL CLUB PRESS OFFICE INSIDER LIFTS THE LID ON THE LIFESTYLES OF THE GAME’S ELITE

No Doubting Thomas, by Paul Dargan
Departing in 2011 the daily demands of working around two of the world’s most talked about and respected football clubs – Everton and Tottenham Hotspur – journalist Paul Dargan embarked on his career as an author.

His inspiration? The lifestyles and habits of those very footballers he interviewed and profiled during a 13-year reporting career that also included service at Sky Sports and Liverpool’s Radio City station.

After more than a fortnight of speculation Everton F.C. today confirmed the appointment of Roberto Martinez as David Moyes’ successor in the Goodison Hot-Seat . Despite the protracted process and the 20 different Bookmaker’s Favourites , footyscene.com was of the opinion it was the Wigan Man  from , with respect to our Ego’s , VERY early doors . It turns out we we were correct . #WhoKnew ???

Hi guys,

Just a small update on the site.

Firstly, we are now active on Google + , and Facebook. If you have an account on either, please add us or like our page so that we can expand our readership. Also share our link (apparently that’s a good thing?) for any articles, any shares will be greatly appreciated.

Secondly, there have been a couple of menu changes , only slight adjustments. You will find the Sunday Sermons and Toffee Ladies sections are now in the Everton section of the site. This is simply to put like with like, the minute you hover over the Everton section you’ll see them on a drop down menu. This is also so that we can have some other pages on the main menu bar in the future.

Finally, if there are any budding writers out there, whether you want to write about Everton, Liverpool or any other club in England, Europe or the Rest of the World please get in touch with us. As long as you don’t swear or use any racism, homophobic comments then we are happy to have you on board.

Thanks for reading and keep on supporting the site,

This week , like many other weeks before , and sadly , no doubt many subsequently , we have seen high profile incidents of Racism in Football . This week European Football has embarrassed itself . It has simultaneously reignited the debate whilst also shattering our self-satisfied comfort at having Cleaned House over the past 20 years . It has illustrated that there is not only a problem , but that it had degenerated into a Cancer .

Two short weeks ago , I compiled an LCABlog on the Olympics . It was a response to that Oh So British of conditions , Acute Cynicism . Indeed , the catalyst for My Piece was that utter waste of space whom insulted Tom Daley . However , even 3 days into London 2012 there remained a significant group of Nay-Sayers . Well , how long ago do those 12 days ago feel like now …? As , and no-one can deny that , The Global Sporting Event Ruler Is Certainly BACK.

Darren Fletcher , Manchester United’s Former Scotland Captain , has shocked the British Football Community At Large by announcing his intention to return to training with the Old Trafford Outfit . Fletcher whom was struck down with Collitis , had feared that his career may well be at an end as a result of the condition .  In Olympic Fortnight and the week that Bolton Wanderers announce their intention to approach The football League with a view to Fabrice Muamba being assessed as regards the possibility of resuming his playing career , it is merely maintaining the air of , Anything Being Possible , in this Country right now .
