China : Will it ever be a strong Footballing nation?

China is THE most populated country in the World with over a 1.3 billion people residing there so how is it that they have yet to produce a decent National Football team ? China has always produced great sporting people which has been evidenced particularly at the Olympic Games. This fact was never more true than at the 2008 Beijing Games. However, football has always been low on their list of priorities.

It has been established for approaching 50 years and has become the Base for Italian Football at all levels and the Blue-Print for countless impersonations , as Club’s Training Facilities , and Preparation for Matches generally , it has become of primary importance in the Age of The Total Game.

 The Free Kicks Foundation is a Peterborough based charity whose aim is to provide football-related activities for ill, bereaved and disadvantaged children, to give them a day to remember with their favourite football club.

The charity is run on a voluntary basis by Steve Thorpe and Sam Downing. Steve’s main responsibility is fundraising as well as using his extensive media contacts to gain publicity. Sam is the Kick Co-ordinator, she liaises with clubs, hospitals and families to ensure that the children have a day to remember.
