I was taken to my first game at Goodison at that age, probably to save my Dad getting the 3rd degree every week. Sunderland 4-1, “Reid’s cross Gray!”. Hooked!

Those of you that follow me on twitter know I’m a big fan of football and quite addicted to the Bundesliga. As well as Everton, the Bundesliga and the Premier League, over the cause of the season I have found myself becoming addicted to Russian football.  I’ve watched a few games here and there over the last couple of seasons and despite enjoying them I struggled to commit to the league. That all changed just before the winter break of the 2012/13 season, I found myself searching for the latest news and watching games on a regular basis, instantly becoming hooked on it. During this piece I will be explaining why I love watching this league and what lies ahead for it.

Yes some clubs have made moves in the transfer market already, but in the main it has been a very normal and quiet June for most clubs. Once July 1st is here and players report back to training, moves for players increase and things begin to bubble over. The fact that Everton have been quiet so far has been magnified by our neighbours doing their business early. In my opinion this is the correct thing to do but this takes money which as we know Everton don’t have bags of.

Difficult to embrace and far from the Mainstream Smashes of Albums 1-Through-5 . Is that such a bad thing though , when you OWN this GD Game ???
