Where the hell have this folk quartet appeared from? This seems to be the question on the lips of many whom have their toes dipped in modern music. However it is the question fans of Mumford & Sons have terminally feared. The question viciously drags Mumford and his sons (not his actual sons can I add, Marcus Mumford accompanied by best friends Ted, Ben & Winston) onto a global stage with a magnifying spotlight provoking them to violently shield their eyes, as a world of popular culture devours them.

This is my first effort at the footyscene’s music corner (bally’s domain imo).
I love a wide range of music that includes the likes of Pink Floyd,Oasis,The Beatles,The Rolling Stones,Queen,Bob Marley and Eric Clapton but in the main Merseyside Bands. My favourite being The Zutons, but I will listen to anything.

Time can be many things .. ; A healer , it waits for No Man . Damn , it can even – when stitched ,  Save 9 … It can also , as in Bowie’s case , see a once Game Leading Artist become just another workaday Pensioner . Or near Pensioner . However , that does an incredible disservice to someone whom for 15 years was , in this Oracula’s opinion , The Leading UK Artist on the Planet . Its kinna sad . That does not take away from the fact that in creating Hunky Dory , in London in 1971 , he was laying down a touchstone that nearly half a century later , Independent Artists still find relevant .

This week , like many other weeks before , and sadly , no doubt many subsequently , we have seen high profile incidents of Racism in Football . This week European Football has embarrassed itself . It has simultaneously reignited the debate whilst also shattering our self-satisfied comfort at having Cleaned House over the past 20 years . It has illustrated that there is not only a problem , but that it had degenerated into a Cancer .

When Jack Rodwell was transferred to Manchester City at the beginning of August, Evertonians could have been forgiven for thinking ‘here we go again’ as another young starlet left the club to move onto bigger and better things. But in fact the truth is that Everton boss David Moyes chose to sell Rodwell to fund some rebuilding of his Everton side, a side that in his vision did not include Rodwell. Evertonians have become used to the club selling some of its stars and young players moving are always greeted with disgruntled views but this transfer was different as David Moyes actually drove it himself in order to develop his side further.
